Woe is me!

Just to prove that I cannot be trusted not to lose stuff, I've already lost my beautiful new Arts Administrator glasses. I've been in search of some great specs to replace my old daggy ones for several months, and finally found what I thought were really gorgeous frames.

I suspect it takes REAL talent to pay nearly $400 for six days worth of spectacle use. I know I lost them somewhere between Epworth Hospital and West Richmond Station. I retraced my tracks three times, but couldn't even find them squooshed on the road. Have reported them missing to the lost property department of the hospital, but nothing has appeared.

See how pretty they were? Sigh!

Doh!! What a bastard Stell. They looked dead cool on you. I don't know what Aussie insurance is like but I the UK losses like that are sometimes covered by household insurance. Worth a try.

Those glasses looked cool on you Stella, Shame you lost them!

Love the post you did earlier on your blog about Deep Roy being the Oompa Loompas, I didn't know he was in "The Neverending Story" though as that was my childhood favourite film and I love him in Johnny Depp's Charlie and the Chocolate factory.

Great glasses, but bad luck! My insurance would pay if someone had stolen the glasses, or if another person has been sitting on them. My dog once mistook my friend's glasses for a yummy bone and started grinding them to pieces. That was paid for. Unfortunately loosing glasses isn't covered. Shame, they looked fabulous on you!
